Case Study: Sprout & Stem's Subscriber Conversion Engine

The Challenge

Sprout & Stem was great at attracting interest through their blog and social media, gaining hundreds of new email subscribers each week. However, this interest rarely translated into sales. Their new subscribers were often overwhelmed by the idea of "zero-waste" and didn't know where to begin. The brand was failing to connect with them in the crucial first few days after sign-up, leading to a disengaged list and a very low subscriber-to-customer conversion rate of less than 1%.

The Lunora Solution

We designed a 3-part welcome automation focused on the new user's journey. The flow was crafted to Empower, Educate, and Encourage.

1. Email 1: The Mission (Sent Immediately): Welcome the subscriber and make them feel part of a community. This email focuses on the "why" behind the brand, building an emotional connection rather than pushing a sale.

2. Email 2: The Education (Sent Day 2): Provide immediate, tangible value. This email addresses the primary pain point—feeling overwhelmed—by offering simple, actionable advice and positioning the brand's products as the perfect solution.

3. Email 3: The Incentive (Sent Day 4): Provide a gentle nudge to make the first purchase. By combining a modest, one-time offer with powerful social proof, this email aims to overcome final hesitations and close the sale.
